Al-Tabarani (Died 360 AH) narrated via his own chain from Abu Bakr who who regretted about three things on his deathbed. Third thing is mentioned like this :
As far as third thing is considered : I wish I never violated or abandoned the house of Fatima.
Ibn Jarir Al-Tabari (Died 210 AH) also mentions same wording with same chain.
Tarikh - Al-Tabari // Volume 3 // Page 429 - 430 // Edn. Rawa'y Turath Al-Arabi Beriut Lebanon.
Now same narration with exact same chain is mentioned by Qasim bin Salam (Died 224 AH) but he changed the text to this :
And what i did to her, I wish i had not done that, I wish i hadn't done this because of a trait. Abu 'Ubaydah (Qasim bin Salam) says that i wish not to mention that.
