Ibn Qayyim Jawzi (Died 751 AH) has written a bool about sending salutations upon Prophet (ﷺ) and he has added a chapter in it with the heading :
الموطن الرَّابِع عشر من مَوَاطِن الصَّلَاة عَلَيْهِ صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم عِنْد الْوُقُوف على قَبره
Fourteenth place at which salutation upon Prophet (ﷺ) is sent is when one come near his grave.

Now when this book was translated by a salafi scholar Qadhi Muhammad Sulieman Mansurpuri from Indopak he eased this whole chapter because it wasn't following what they are propagating here in Indopak.
