Those Ahl'ul Sunnah that hail from Pakistan who are affiliated with Barelvism, in particular those that are Sayyed have a close love and affection towards Abu Talib (as). They assume that:
- Barelvism is rooted in love and respect for the father of Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) and;
- only the Salafis hold a negative opinion of him.
We will inshallah expose this lie through this article, that evidences that their founding forefather issued Takfeer on Abu Talib (as). Unsurprsingly the clergy attached to his coat tails have done likewise.
